Prof. Janos Suagotsu, ICT Head at Autonomous Bougainville Government, emphasized that Asset Management and Disposal Training is timely. Government assets are not properly registered or accounted for, and ABG needs a software solution to track inventories and enforce proper procurement and disposal processes. The 2022 training by EPTC highlighted how integrated asset registers and compliant disposal workflows can transform governance. ABG has 25 officers currently attending this training and finds this course highly helpful, noting EPTC is the only institution offering this training. ABG looks forward to deeper collaboration with EPTC in the coming years to scale and sustain these capabilities.
